Big Island

One of the best things about being a photographer, is getting to travel! Kit joined Marian & I during his Spring break on the Big Island of Hawaii. M2 Photography Campout at Sand Mountain, Nevada

Award-winning photographers Michael Imus and Michael Escalera held a workshop for "shooting outside of your comfort zone" March 27-28th. We had to shoot with one of our little used or ignored lenses, which for me is my Sigma 11-18 wide angle. Here, I'm shooting Michael E, shooting Vinnie and Brian. Imaging USA- Phoenix, AZ

Imaging USA 2009 held it's Conference in Phoenix, Arizona January 10-13. I attended with Lee Brumbaugh, the curator and photographer for the Nevada Historical Society Museum. This year promised bigger and better, and it didn't disappoint. Canon once again sponsered the opening dinner party with plenty of food, drink and music and the featured Key-note photographer was Anne Geddes (Babies). Classes ran from 7am to 7pm and the Tradeshow featured over 500 vendors. This photographer did his fair share of buying everything new and improved. Ask me about my new Canon 5D Mark II.
